Background

The potential of the Wallacea region has not been optimally utilized, both in terms of science and economic value. Certain potentials of high ecosystem value include endemicity, culture, and tourism all to witness the uniqueness of Wallacea region both marine and terrestrial. On the other hand, public awareness movement about the importance of preserving the biodiversity of the Wallacea region is increasingly needed today.

 

Aim

The conference is aimed to:

• Update and share research findings related to topics
• Discuss current environmental policy and management programs
• Establish a network among scientists and practitioners worldwide

 

Scope

The range of the topics covered by the conference is as follow (all related to Wallacea Region):

1. Science and Conservation (Highlighting the link between conservation and the future of communities)
   • Land Biodiversity in the Wallacea Region
   • Marine Biodiversity in the Wallacea Region
   • Balancing economic and ecological perspectives on biodiversity
2. Potentials and Challenges of Indonesian Biodiversity
   • Global health and human genetic diversity
   • Biodiversity and climate change
   • The effectiveness of law on biodiversity conservation
3. Cultural Diversity and Arts (as an inspiration for life)
   • Diversity of nature and culture
   • Exploring local wisdom in the region

 

 

Submission of Abstract and Full Paper

• To submit an abstract, authors must create an account first. Then they can submit their abstracts by logging in to their account.
• The manuscript (full paper) can be submitted only after authors submit their abstract.
• The whole submission process is done fully online (not by email) to guarantee smooth administration.
• Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Letter of Invitation (LoI) can be downloaded directly from your account once your abstract is accepted.

 

 

Author Guidelines

• Papers submitted should be written in English. All submissions must be made electronically in DOC format following the guidelines of paper template.
• Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references. Full text papers (.doc) will be accepted by Online Electronic Submission System.
• All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical.
• Articles submitted to the Conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
• Manuscripts should follow the style of the Conference and are subject to both review and editing.
• Authors are requested to submit full papers to the organizing committee by August 31^st The paper must contain the following section: Introduction (includes background to interest, issues, and research originality/ novelty), Literature review, Research method, Result and discussion, Conclusion, Implication, Limitations and Suggestions, and References.
