    VISION AND MISSION

    (1) Vision

    Producing Superior, Cultured Human Resources (HR), and Developing Science and Technology.

     

    (2) Mission

    a. Provision of quality, superior and cultured postgraduate education;

    b. Conducting Quality and Superior Research;

    c. Disseminating Technology and Research Results for Community Empowerment;

    d. Accountable Postgraduate Management.

     

    Principles, Functions, Objectives, Principles and Types
    (1) UNSRAT Postgraduate studies are based on:

    a. scientific truth;

    b. reasoning;

    c. honesty;

    d. justice;

    e. benefits;

    f. virtue;

    g. responsibility;

    h. diversity; and

    i. affordability.

     

    (2) UNSRAT Postgraduate Program functions:

    a. develop capabilities and form the character and civilization of a dignified nation in order to make the life of the nation more intelligent;

    b. developing an academic community that is innovative, responsive, creative, skilled, competitive and cooperative through the implementation of the tridharma; and

    c. develop science and technology by paying attention to and applying humanities values.

     

    (3) UNSRAT's postgraduate higher education aims to:

    a. development of students' potential to become human beings who believe in and fear God Almighty and have noble morals, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, skilled, competent and cultured for the benefit of the nation;

    b. producing graduates who master branches of Science and/or Technology to fulfill national interests and increase the nation's competitiveness;

    c. the production of Science and Technology through Research that pays attention to and applies Humanities values ​​to benefit the progress of the nation, as well as the progress of civilization and the welfare of humanity;

    d. the realization of Community Service based on reasoning and research work that is useful in advancing public welfare and improving the intelligence of the nation.

     

    (4) UNSRAT Postgraduate Program is based on the following principles:

    a. the search for scientific truth by the Academic Community;

    b. democratic and just and non-discriminatory by upholding human rights, religious values, cultural values, diversity, unity and national unity;

    c. development of academic culture and fostering reading and writing activities for the Academic Community;

    d. civilizing and empowering the nation that lasts throughout life;

    e. exemplary behavior, willingness, and development of student creativity in learning;

    f. student-centered learning by paying attention to the environment in a harmonious and balanced manner;

    g. freedom to choose a study program based on student interests, talents and abilities;

    h. a systemic unity with an open and multi-meaning system;

    i. support for economically disadvantaged community groups; and

    j. empowerment of all components of society through participation in the implementation and control of the quality of Higher Education services.

     

    (5) Types and directions of UNSRAT Postgraduate Education:

    a. Professional programs are directed at producing graduates who master professional skills in various fields so that they are able to carry out their profession according to the competency standards required for that profession.

    b. The master's program is directed at producing graduates who have the following qualifications:

    1. have the ability to develop and update science and technology by mastering and understanding scientific approaches, methods, principles, along with application skills;
    2. have the ability to solve problems in their field of expertise through research and development activities based on scientific principles;
    3. have the ability to develop their professional performance in a wider spectrum, which is demonstrated by sharpness of problem analysis, comprehensiveness of review, and cohesiveness of problem solving by linking similar fields of science or professions.

    c. The doctoral program is directed at producing graduates who have the following qualifications:

    1. have the ability to develop new scientific and technological concepts in their field of expertise through research;
    2. have the ability to manage, lead and develop research activities;
    3. have the ability to take an interdisciplinary approach in working in their field of expertise.
